Self-care is so important. Pick 4 things just for yourself today.

1)Did you make it to your yoga class? When you’re there be sure to put a drop of Lavender in the palms of your hands, rub them together, cup them over your mouth and nose and inhale deeply before your practice.

2)Give yourself a foot massage. Add a drop of Peppermint essential oil to your lotion for a little stress relief for your feet.

We are starting with our #LEADPillar. Today I am committing to journaling 4 more times.
It is typical of our #KarakaMethod LEAD Pillar to start the 1st day with #Journaling. Our LEAD product from our Karaka 4 Pillar Balance Bundle is the #KarakaJournal. The first step of actioning a thought is putting it on paper.

We're offering some help from our end to get you started, by giving you some ideas to journal on throughout the day. Be sure to carry your journal with the intention of allowing yourself the time for each breaking point throughout your day to take a couple of minutes to write things down.

Journaling can serve as a reflection tool or a place to build upon your goals and visions and of course if you like to doodle, it is a great place to do it.

These are some suggestions, please customize your reflections the way you wish.

We are launching another 12 Days of Karaka campaign tomorrow! Yes, we get excited about these things…...

The campaign is titled: #Karaka4More

For 12 days we are encouraging all of you to do and think 4 more positive acts and thoughts. We will organize the campaign based on our #KarakaMethod 4 Pillars LEAD, LOVE, LIFE and HEALTH.

Here’s how this works: Each day we pick a #KarakaMethod pillar and for the next 12 days we will list 4 positive things we did or will do within that pillar. We will start tomorrow with our first pillar: #LEADPillar.

Easy and impactful! This is our aim. Let’s spark the positivity for August! We are looking forward to your participation and hope that by your participation we will truly spark a positive “Collective Significance” within our lives and others.

Welcome to  day 10  of our 12 days of Karaka #MasterTheMoment campaign. In our LEAD pillar we talk about decisions and accountability. We all face decisions throughout the day, some of them are easier to make and more clear, others tend to be a bit on the hesitant side. It is normal to feel indecisive at times and maybe that indecisiveness comes from self-doubt, or really not knowing which is the better decision to make. At the end, we will make the decision in the moment whether it is right or wrong won’t know it, until the next time we encountered an outcome of that momentous decision. We still have to make it. Every moment of our days can be filled with something we do and want to accomplish. This notion of support applies across all of our 4 pillar workshops, as it can be shown in leadership, love, life and health. Support is one of those acts that can be shown in both action (physical/spoken) form and silent (moral) form. A supportive gesture in a moment of need or even without need, can leave the person receiving it fulfilled. If we practice being in the present continuously, and align our intentions with the moment, we end up offering support in ways we never thought we are capable or aware of. We are at day 6 of our 12 days of Karaka #MasterTheMoment campaign. Today’s campaign contribution is a personal story. We were at a gathering for Memorial Day week-end. It was dessert time and as the host was putting together a Middle Eastern specialty (Halawat El Jibn), I was at a loss for words on how to describe the moment. She put together pieces so artfully from start to finish that all I could see was a beautiful soul creating a beautiful outcome. I wanted to capture the moment and not let it slip, I took a picture. I am now choosing the word to describe the embodied sight and feeling from start to finish - it was “beautiful”. The smell, the vision, the taste - all of was just beautiful. Day 4 - From our LOVE pillar workshops. Get comfortably seated on your Karaka Meditation Cushion. Sit with your legs crossed and when you think of your posture, mindfully think of it as you’re opening your heart and have a strong back. The posture implies bravery, to sit in silence and it really just allows you to open your mind and heart to face the day. If you’re a beginner, you can do this for 10 minutes and try it to start for 4 days. Bravery is often associated with other human characteristics such as, fear, humility, honesty, conflict, honor, compassion. There are two types of bravery, physical and moral. Physical bravery may be a natural human trait, the moral one is a conscious choice and an admirable one. Entrepreneurs who launch their venture (by choice or by circumstance) are brave. It’s going into a “battle” not knowing if you will win or lose, but you’re ready. You’ll go in with fear and doubt, but you’ll come out brave regardless. Keep going and make your daily choices but don’t be afraid or doubtful, because you’re BRAVE. It was always within you.
